North Dakota
Coordinating Council for Cooperatives
(NDCCC)

Cooperatives have played and are continuing to play a vital role in North Dakota's economy.  NDCCC was started when cooperatives saw a need  for a formal organization to support and promote cooperatives within the state of North Dakota. NDCCC, a cooperative made up of many cooperatives,  has been active in participating in events such as:

  • State Fair Co-op Day-Cooperative members representing a variety of cooperatives serve a free breakfast of pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee in the morning and serve ice cream cones in the afternoon during the North Dakota State Fair in Minot, ND every year.

  • Co-op Month-October is Co-op Month and during this month the Coordinating Council promotes cooperatives through a variety of ways including publishing articles, speaking around the state, and handing out packets with cooperative information. Check out the Co-op Month Web Page.

Cooperatives represented in the Coordinating Council for Cooperatives include North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives and North Dakota Association of Telecommunications Cooperatives,  North Dakota Credit Union League, North Dakota Farmers Union, Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative, Land O'Lakes, Cenex-Harvest States Cooperatives and CoBank.

The story of North Dakota cooperatives is a story of accomplishment, achievement and economic contribution to members, employees and communities. It is a dynamic, vibrant story still in the process of creation as new and emerging cooperatives evolve and established cooperatives expand and diversify. The members of the North Dakota Coordinating Council of Cooperatives have an impressive story to tell.a
