See the Vice President for University Relations' Usage Guidelines for the NDSU Logo.
The NDSU Extension Service logotype reflects the
Extension Service as part of North Dakota State University and has a modern graphic look.
Words
The logotype with the words North Dakota State University
should almost always be used. The version without North Dakota State
University is to be used only:
-
on documents where North Dakota State
University is obviously printed on the same page near the logo, such
as on letterhead
-
when the words can't be recreated, such as on
embroidered shirts.
Colors
The NDSU Extension Service logo is only to be printed in black or
NDSU green (PMS 342). Use green only when working with a professional
printer who will be using a press and can get the correct shade of
green. Use black logos when outputting from laser-type printers since
it's impossible to get the correct shade of green.
Graphic, Not Text
The logo must be used as a graphic and may not be recreated in a
similar font. Take care to not stretch the logo out of proportion. If
you're uncertain how to do this, consult your software help screen.
Transition
Use up supplies of current letterhead, enclosures, business cards
and other materials, but all new information will include the new
logo.
Please contact Deb Tanner at deb.tanner@ndsu.edu or (701)
231-7891 if you need a different format.
