Baseline Software Supported by NDSU Agriculture
Below is a list of desktop baseline software packages supported by
NDSU Agriculture and University Extension. Each package has an arrow associated with it.

Software is being supported. One software program
with an up arrow in each category is currently being installed
on new purchases upon departmental/office approval. |

Software is being supported; it will be
re-installed where previously installed if an upgrade is not
appropriate; it will not be installed on new purchases. |

Software is being supported; it will be
re-installed where previously installed if an upgrade is not
possible; it will not be installed on new purchases; program
will likely be removed from baseline within 6 months. |
Support Parameters
- Users may select
software that is not part of the baseline, but it will not be
supported.
- Supporting baseline software means having the software installed
and operational.
- Support for specific operational tasks associated with the
software are the responsibility of the user.
- Additional site-licensed software is available, but it will not
be supported as part of the baseline.
- The status of this software is subject to change at six-month
intervals when it is evaluated by the Agriculture Information
Technology Advisory Group (AITAG).
