IT Plan 1007-09 Goals

AITAG members reviewed the IT Plan 1007-09 Goals at http://www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/policy/it/goals.htm.

Jim said their computers are replaced when funding is available.  AES does not have a replacement plan. Is that possible?

Various IT training options were discussed.

Vern suggested deleting “study hardened laptops for outdoor field use” since those are now available.

A one-time request for legislative funding will probably be videoconference equipment since many locations have equipment that won’t be supported after September 2010.

Videoconferencing is a hassle to schedule. Is it possible to put all Ag rooms on Oracle Calendar?

Outside groups often want evening videoconferences and sometimes leave the room a mess. May we charge groups that use RECs and county offices?

Becky will put the goals in a chart format to identify what has been accomplished and what needs more work.
