About the club
Students of any major can join the NDSU Horticulture and Forestry Club to learn about and enjoy the art and science of growing flowers, fruits, trees, and vegetables.
Meetings are held twice a month on Thursdays at 5:00 pm in the Horticulture and Forestry Greenhouse. Old and new business is discussed and new ideas are welcomed. A room in the greenhouse belongs to the club and is used as a resource to help students learn propagation, greenhouse management, watering techniques, repotting, as well as hold inventory for various plant sales.
Dr. Harlene Hatterman-Valenti serves as the club's adviser.
