Welcome to the High Throughput Genotyping Center (HTGC) at North Dakota State University.
Mission Statement:
This recharge center is intended to serve the needs of NDSU research community
for high throughput sample processing.
- Services provided:
- Custom robot Service: Beckman Biomek NX custom robotic system for high throughput sample processing with an integrated DTX multimode detector and analysis software with quantification/normalization function. For example, this system provides functionality and flexibility to extract DNA from various tissue samples and biological contaminants from other sources. This system is fully programmable affording us the opportunity to accommodate a diverse user group
- Genetic Analysis: 2x Beckman CEQ8800 Genetic Analysis Instruments for genotyping and sequencing needs
- Real-Time PCR: ABI7900HT Real-Time Thermal Cycler for analysis of gene expression and SNP variation
- High throughput PCR: 9x GeneAmp 9700 Thermal Cyclers from ABI for high throughput PCR applications (10 x 96 samples can be processed at a given time)
- 2x MM301 tissue grinders
