Building upon the general core curriculum, students select among six emphasis areas in which to concentrate their course work.

Natural Resources Management degree programs:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS)
  • Master of Science (MS)
  • Doctoral (PhD)

Natural Resources Management

Natural Resources Management is a management-oriented degree program that integrates the social, physical, and biological aspects of natural resources into one program of study.

Natural Resources Management draws upon the courses and resources of four North Dakota State University colleges:

  • Agriculture, Food Systems, & Natural Resources
  • Science & Mathematics
  • Engineering & Architecture
  • Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences

Through Natural Resources Management, students acquire a broad background in natural resources as well as in-depth study in one or two specific emphasis areas. The program exposes students to many disciplines: exactly the multidisciplinary approach society must take if it is to find solutions to complex environmental problems.
