Welcome to NRM!

With increasing human pressure and a growing need to balance competing demands, we need innovative ways to manage and use natural resources. Natural Resources Management at North Dakota State University prepares students for careers that require an understanding of the social, biological and physical aspects of managing natural resources for their highest and best uses for society while maintaining the integrity of natural systems. Because this program emphasizes problem solving it prepares students to deal with issues that reach beyond a single discipline or subject area.

You should consider Natural Resources Management
if you are interested in:
  • the environment and natural resources
  • the natural and physical sciences
  • acquiring management and problem-solving skills
  • working with people in an environmental context

Natural Resources Management offers you an interdisciplinary approach to learning . . .

applying your abilities and skills in a career that can make a difference.
