State Soil Conservation Committee meeting
A
meeting of the North Dakota State Soil Conservation Committee was held by
conference call on May 15, 2007. The meeting was called to order at
8:05 a.m.,
with Vice Chair Robert Blegen presiding. The following persons attended all or
a portion of the meeting:

SOIL CONSERVATION DISTRICT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM
Scott Hochhalter reviewed House Bill 1020. The bill includes an
additional $100,000 for soil conservation districts. The funding available for
the 2007-2009 Biennium Soil Conservation Districts Assistance Program is
$730,000.
IT WAS MOVED BY COMMITTEE MEMBER ZETOCHA, SECONDED BY COMMITTEE MEMBER HAWK, AND CARRIED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING FUNDING ALLOCATION FOR THE 2007-2009 BIENNIUM SOIL CONSERVATION DISTRICTS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. Committee Members Zetocha, Hawk, Hoerauf, Disrud and Blegen voted “Aye.” No negative votes were cast.
