| Jay Fisher is a native of Tappen, ND. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees
in agronomy from NDSU. Jay began work as an area extension agronomist at the
North Central Research Extension Center in 1978. In 1990 he became northwest
district director for the NDSU Extension Service, and in 1994 he became
director of the North Central Research Extension Center along with his
district director duties. He is a
member of the Weed Science Society of America and a board member of the
Minot Area Chamber of Commerce.
Jay and his wife, Marlys, who is a registerd
nurse, have four children and live in Minot. |
