Business and Industry's "Front Door" to NDSU

Where can I get technical training?

The goal of the North Dakota Workforce Training System is to provide business and industry in North Dakota with the most competitive workforce in the nation. http://www.ndus.nodak.edu/system_office/workforce_training/default.asp

This goal is being met by implementing a model developed by the Task Force on Workforce Development and Training. Development of the model was coordinated by the Greater North Dakota Association using the best practices of Workforce Training Systems. The model has the following characteristics:
· Designated geographic service regions.
· Administered by two-year colleges with special units of the colleges specifically designed to meet the workforce training needs of business and industry.
· Financial support through a combination of state, local, and private sources.
· Strong collaborative relationships between institutions providing training and individual businesses being served and among educational institutions and various government agencies involved in workforce training.
