Kathleen is the state coordinator for youth entrepreneurship program called Mini-Society. North Dakota has between 400 and 700 youth participating in school and after school programs in youth entrepreneurship each year. She is also a founding director and past president of Business Retention and Expansion International. Her special areas of interest include business retention and expansion, community strategic planning, the creation of rural business opportunities, customer service research and development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship and leadership development.

Kathy works with faculty and others to coordinate research, teaching and outreach to assist individuals and community leaders interested in community vitality.

Kathleen received both her B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of North Dakota.

Reuben has 39 years of engineering and management experience in the areas of design, product development, manufacturing engineering, and human resources. His industry involvement includes design of products and tooling, manufacturing processes and plant layout, product testing, quality, supplier/customer relations, ISO 9000, operations, and management.

Reuben received extensive technical and management training in his 33 years of employment at IBM, staying abreast of technological and human resource changes. While employed at IBM, Reuben spent 17 years in management of New Products Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations, and Quality Engineering of Mid-Range Computer Systems and Computer Storage Products. Reuben has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from NDSU.
