Roger
Ashley has served as the Cropping Systems Extension Specialist
for southwest North Dakota at the Dickinson Research Extension
Center since January 1997. Previous work experience includes
13 years as a County Agent for the Montana State University
Cooperative Extension Service at Culbertson, Montana from 1977
to 1990 and six and a half years as an Associate Extension Professor
and Extension Educator in Agriculture for the University of
Idaho Extension System at Idaho Falls, Idaho from 1990 through
1996.
Educational
degrees include a B.S. in Crop Science from Michigan State University
in 1975 and a M.S. Degree in Agronomy/Plant Genetics from the
University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona in 1989.
Mr.
Ashley's responsibilities include work with cropping systems
with emphasis in the control of root pathogens, specialty crops,
and water management.
