                                                                                  RUDY RADKE
photo of Rudy Radke       Rudy Radke is the NDSU Area Ag Diversification Specialist in Valley City. Rudy's
position involves funding from the High Value Irrigated Crops Task Force in Central
North Dakota where he serves as coordinator. Rudy handles specialty and niche crop
calls from North Dakota, United States and Canada. He has co-authored a
Specialty Crop Research List which has been utilized in the same areas. He has put
together many resources for the HVIC Task Force and has worked on several value-
added committees. Rudy works with individuals as well as groups in production of
specialties and added-value projects for traditional and niche crops.

Rudy is a native of Great Bend and Tyler, North Dakota, attended the North Dakota State School of Science and transferred to North Dakota State University where he received a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics. Rudy and his wife Lucy live in Fargo with their three children, Kendall, Karla and Kyle.
