On Thursday, August 23rd
, I posted the allocation information for the new ‘JERRY’ HRWW release to the
CCIA for Fall 2001 on the Foundation Seed Web page and notified you of that
fact by e-mail. Attached is the “hard
copy” Allocation Sheet I promised you along with a blank Seed Increase
Agreement for your use. Let us know if
you need more copies.
‘JERRY’ is available only as
bagged untreated seed at $14.00 / bushel.
Bulk is not available.
The supply of seed was limited
and county interest was high. You
were notified earlier that county allotments would be only 25 bushels per
county. We will be able to offer you 28 bushels.
It is unfortunate that the supply was so restricted.
We had 30 acres under increase but lost 18 acres at Williston from
winterkill.
Currently all of the seed is
located at the Agronomy Seed Farm at Casselton. We will begin immediately to get seed moved to the Carrington,
Minot, Williston Research Centers and to Minn-Dak Growers at Dickinson. Please note your delivery location.
Notify me or Paulette as
soon as possible if you decide to turn back your allotment. Once the seed is moved we expect that it
will be paid for and picked up. If your
increase grower does not follow through on his contract with your CCIA, we will
bill the CCIA for the seed.
