RE: New NDAES Winter Wheat Release for 2001

Enclosed are yield data and the agronomic description for:

‘JERRY’ HRWW
Seed Price is $14.00 per bushel, bagged, untreated

a new Winter Wheat variety release planned for Fall, 2001. The variety will be the last release from the NDSU Winter Wheat breeding program which has been discontinued. A seed increase is being made at the Agronomy Seed Farm and will be harvested soon.

While we do not yet know how many bushels we will have to allocate, the attached information can be used in your planning process. Based upon limited interest in seed of HRWW varieties in ND, there should be an adequate quantity for any interested counties.

Please call Paulette or me at your earliest convenience but NO LATER than August 29 to put your county on the Allocation List for this new variety. We will plan to make allocations on August 31 and will notify your county at that time of the number of bushels you are being offered.
