JERRY originated from the cross Roughrider/ND7571//Arapahoe.  JERRY has broad adaptation across ND and is consistently among the top yielding HRWW varieties.  In 38 trials (Tables 1, 2) JERRY averaged 2 to 5 bushels better than Ransom and Seward, two varieties consistently among the top yielding HRWW varieties in ND. Percent protein is superior to that of Seward and Ransom (Table 3). JERRY has good test weight, lodging resistance, and winter survival.  Heading date is intermediate to Roughrider and Seward.  JERRY is shorter than both Roughrider and Seward.  In limited trials JERRY has better resistance to leaf rust than most varieties (Tables 4, 5).  Milling and baking quality is satisfactory.
