Welcome to the North Dakota State University Extension Service's country of origin labeling "COOL" web site.

The objective of this web site is not to promote a particular viewpoint, but to provide North Dakota citizens with information about COOL.  If mandatory COOL is ultimately adopted, this site will inform North Dakota livestock and meat industry groups what they must do to comply with the law. If COOL is postponed, changed, or rescinded by Congress; this site will continue to provide current information on the status of COOL.
