Micronutrient Usage
Zinc, a common micronutrient for dry beans, was
applied to 53% of Northarvest respondents' acres,
nearly the same as in 1997. Zinc was applied to 39% of Minnesota and 59% of North Dakota
respondents'
acres, which is down from 1997 for Minnesota but about the same for North Dakota. Other
micronutrients
were used on 11% of Northarvest, 13% of Minnesota and 11% of North Dakota respondents'
acres,
nearly double the usage in 1997 (Table 23).
