North Dakota is a partner in the North Central Pest Management Center Program one of four centers in a national network established to strengthen USDA's connection with production agriculture, research and extension programs, and agricultural stakeholders throughout the United States.  The regional centers were established in 2000 by the United States Department of Agriculture.

The North Central region includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The center headquarters is currently hosted by Michigan State University, East Lansing MI.
