Activities

Objectives

Establish, coordinate and provide a network that produces information such as pesticide use and usage, pest management practices, production and revision of crop profiles and pest management strategic plans.

  • Conduct pesticide use and pest management practices surveys.
  • Collect and provide data on types, quantities, and rates of pesticides and pesticide
    alternatives used.
  • Collect and provide information on percent acres treated, number of applications, 
    availability and efficacy of chemical and nonchemical alternatives.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of crop profiles for major crops grown in North Dakota.
  • Coordinate and cooperate in the development a pest management strategic plans 
    for field crops produced in the region.

Strengthen the connection between pest management programs and stakeholders.
