Vision Statement for the North Dakota Dairy Task Force

 Our vision for North Dakota 20 years from now is...

• A place of green alfalfa fields and dairy cows grazing on pasture.
• A place with growing, friendly communities filled with young people. 
• A place where as many as 1,000 dairy farms raise 100,000 dairy cows and are integrated into a vibrant and growing agricultural economy.
• A place filled with healthy cows and healthy people; and urban dwellers of all ages bottle-feeding calves.
• A place where Discovery Centers tell the story of how compassionate North Dakota dairy farmers encouraged people to establish 'Peace Garden' settlements, that now share our success.
• A place where successful, producer-owned organizations market the highest qualtiy dairy products in the world.
• A place where there is a culture of earned respect for rural values, intelligence, and human dignity; and an appreciation for the many partners who provide information and technical assistance.
