Chung S. Park, Professor
Ph.D., Nutrition/lactation, Virginia Polytechnic and State University, 1975; M.S., Ruminant Nutrition, University of Georgia, 1972; B.S., Animal Science, Seoul National University, Korea, 1964.

Research Interests: Dr. Park is interested in nutritional regulation of animal growth, mammary gland development, and lactation. His research centers on a novel stair-step compensatory nutrition regimen for the enhancement of animal growth, mammary gland development, and lactation potential. His work also includes the relationship of nutrition to normal mammary differentiation and tumorigenesis.

J.W. Schroeder, Assistant Professor
Ph.D., Nutritional Physiology, North Dakota State University, 1999; M.S., Meat Science and Muscle Biology, Colorado State University, 1978; B.S., Animal Science, North Dakota State University, 1975.

Research Interests: Dr. Schroeder provides leadership on research projects in applied dairy cattle nutrition. Specific interests include the underlying mechanisms that improve quality, composition, and secretion of milk and the alternative use of specialty crops and crop by-products for lactating cow and growing heifer diets. Additional efforts include experimental heifer rearing systems using embryo transfer and beef cow recipients.
