Using PDF Presentations

The presentations listed on this web page are in PDF format and can be viewed with the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® program available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. The viewer is free and once it is installed, you can view the presentations through your internet browser or save the presentation to your hard drive and open it later. You do not have to open your browser to open a pdf file.  Just double-click the filename and it will open.

If you are planning to use these presentations at a meeting, it may be easier to access a pdf file saved on your hard drive (or disk) rather than trying to access it through your internet browser.  Opening a saved pdf file is faster and  losing your internet connection isn't a problem. Just make sure that your computer has the Adobe® viewer installed before trying to make a presentation.

Another option would be to print overheads for use with an overhead projector.
