His research interests include control of Fusarium head blight and leaf diseases of barley through management and biocontrol as well as identification of sources of resistance. He has further experience in the taxonomy, ecology and management of root pathogens of cereals. |

His research interests include behavior of Rhizoctonia in soil, biological control of Rhizoctonia and potential use of non pathogenic isolates of Rhizoctonia in seedling protection against damping off and plant growth promotion. |
