This is the home page of the International Rhizoctonia Subject Matter Committee (IRSMC) of the International Society of Plant Pathology (ISPP). The aims of the IRC are:

• To promote exchange of information on research relating to pathogenic and non pathogenic Rhizoctonia species.
• To promote international collaboration and encourage collaborative research projects among colleagues working on the various aspects of Rhizoctonia research.
• To have an organized body that will deal with issues of interest for Rhizoctonia researchers and interact with related professional societies.
• To hold periodic meetings and workshops that are focused on various aspects of Rhizoctonia research.
• To distribute among people interested in Rhizoctonia , relevant information and news from different countries related to Rhizoctonia research and important events.

We welcome suggestions, initiatives, and active participation of enthusiastic colleagues,
from which all Rhizoctonia researchers can benefit.
